IIFA Awards 2022 – Nominations, Venue, Date & Time

22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards will take place on 14th to 16th July 2022 at the Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Who will win the award of Best Actor, Actress and others will be disclosed on the event night. As always our most favourite Salman Khan is going to host the IIFA Awards 2022. Previously it was scheduled to be held on 18th and 19th March 2022 but later it was postponed. The event is going to most entering, with a lot of fun and comedy. Shershaah, a biographical war film with 21 nominations is expected to win multiple awards in 22nd IIFA awards.

IIFA Awards 2022

The awaited International Indian Film Academy Awards is going to be organised by IIFA Club on 14th to 16th July 2022. All the bollywood stars are going to attend the award show. This event is going to be more entertaining, because it was not able to be conducted because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The actor and actress will perform in the live event, nominations are already announced in early 2022. Last year, the officials announced the names of winners via the Instagram handle. It was expected that, 21st IIFA may take place by the end of November 2021, but it was again suspended because of COVID-19 pandemic.

On 24th November 2021, the winners name was announced officially by Instagram handle. Last year, Gully Boy had 17 nominations and won 6 awards. As of the current scenario, Shershaah has 21 nominations and is likely to win 8 to 10 awards. Shershaah is likely to win the award of Best Film in 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards. The host of 22nd IIFA will be Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul. There are five nominations for Best Film, which are Thappad, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Shershaah, 83 and Sardar Udham. 

22nd IIFA Awards Nominations

Nomination for the 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards is already announced for all category awards such as Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and more. 

Nominations for Best Directors are Kabir Khan for 83, Anurag Basu for Ludo, Anubhav Sinha for Thappad, Vishnuvardhan for Shershaah, Shoojit Sircar for Sardar Udham and Vishnuvardhan for Shershaah. Music awards notifications for various categories such as Best Lyricist, Best Music Director, Best Female Playback Singer and Best Male Playback Singer are announced. Our favourite Arijit Singh has been nominated as Best Male Playback Singer, for the song Lehta Do, 83 Movie. Kausar Munir, Irshad Kamil, Sayeed Quadri, Tanishk Bagchi, B Praak & Jaani are nominated for Best Lyricist.

22nd IIFA Awards Venue

International Indian Film Academy Awards 2022 will be held in UAE’s Etihad Arena. Every single individual will be able to watch the live event on the various TV channels. 22nd IIFA Awards was to take place on 19th to 21st May 2022 because of UAE President & Abu Dhabi’s Ruler (Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan) demise.
