Exams will be conducted in a single shift from 2, 10:00 am to 01:15 pm with a time duration of 03 hours and 15 minutes.
Out of the total exam time duration, 10 minutes will be for reading the question paper, 5 minutes for Verification of Particulars and 03 hours for touching all asked questions. In the exam, objective, subjective and descriptive questions will be asked.
TN HSC Exam Day Guidelines 2023
Exam Day Guidelines for Higher Secondary Certificate are listed below.
- Students need to report at the exam centre at least by 09:00 am with a hall ticket.
- Students will have to adopt all SOPs i.e. Standard Operating Protocols regards to COVID-19 pandemic.
- No electronic device such as Mobile Phones, Calculators, Watches, etc, will be allowed inside the exam hall.
- Personal water bottle & hand sanitizer will be allowed inside the exam hall.

Hall Ticket for HSC Exam will be released on the official website of the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu two before the examination, students will have to download it using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.
