After a poor start with the bat, where India were reduced to 48/3, Rishabh Pant (46) along with Cheteshwar Pujara stitched a crucial partnership to take India out of trouble. However, Pant could not make it big as he got dismissed by Mehidy. Shreyas Iyer then took the charge and with the support from Pujara, took India past 250.
