How to track refund status using “Where’s My Refund?” tool?
Window for filing the tax return electricity or on-paper was activated on 23 January 2023, the last date to do so was 18 April 2023. Tax Extension’s last date is 16 October 2023, those who have already filed for refund can go through the step-by-step procedure to check the tax return status.

> Do the following activities:
- Choose your tax year as 2022.
- Enter your Social Security Number correctly.
- Choose your Filing Status as Single, Married-Filing Joint Return, Married-Filing Separate Return, Head of Household or Qualifying Widow(er) / Surviving.
- Enter your Refund Amount in the US dollars.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, 9 out of 10 returns are issued within 21 days, which are filed electronically. There are three stages in processing any refund, firstly it is received, then approved and at the end it is sent, let’s learn the meaning for each of them.
