Rajasthan scheduled a single round of voting to choose its 16th Legislative Assembly on 25 November.

The unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Rajasthan is known as the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, also known as the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha. 

On December 3, the outcomes for each of the five Assemblies will be announced.

In Rajasthan, voting for the election of 199 out of the 200 legislative seats started at 7 a.m. The current Congress is making a great effort to hold onto power.

In previous decades, Rajasthan has had alternating administrations led by the Congress and the BJP.

The polling period began at 7 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. Due to the passing away of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar, the poll for the Karanpur seat has been postponed

He held the position of MLA for this constituency as well.

The BJP has been attacking the ruling Congress on issues like crime against women, appeasement, corruption, and paper leaks. 

1,862 candidates are in the race, and 5,25,38,105 voters in the state will choose their fate.

22,61,008 of the state’s 1,70,99,334 voters in the 18–30 age range are new voters in the 18–19 age group.

In the House, 200 representatives are directly elected from single-seat districts. Unless it is dissolved early, the Vidhan Sabha has a five-year tenure

In Rajasthan, there are 200 Assembly constituencies, of which 25 are set aside for Scheduled Tribes (STs) and 34 for Scheduled Castes (SCs). 

The current Rajasthan Assembly will convene on January 15, 2019, and conclude on January 14, 2024.

The EVMs are taken to a location where the votes are tabulated under the careful supervision of Election Commission personnel after the polls have closed. 

The results are often released to the public soon after the counting process.

The result will commence after counting on 3 December 2023.

Result will be available to the Election Commission of India. After polling on 25 November, counting will start on Sunday which is anticipated to start by 8 AM.

A constituency’s top vote-getter is declared the winner, and the Election Commission formally informs them of their triumph.
