RRC NR Apprentice Recruitment 2024

The RRC NR invites online applications from eligible candidates for the apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act 1961 for training at various units/Departments/Workshops in Northern Railways. The duration of training and stipend will be decided as per the Railway rules.  

According to the notifications, the railway recruitment cell has 4096 training slots based on trade/units at Lucknow, Ambala, Moradabad, Delhi, and Firozpur. Candidates interested in the NR RRC apprenticeship program can apply online for the apprentice from 16 August 2024 till 16 September 2024. 

The authority will screen all the applications and prepare a merit list based on the candidate’s marks, trade-wise, and community-wise to shortlist the candidates for the apprenticeship program. The applicants can expect the merit list released in November 2024. 

RRC NR Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates interested in the RRC NR apprenticeship program can check their eligibility to apply from the below eligibility criteria:

Age Limit: 

• Applicants must have attained 15 years of age and had not crossed 24 years of age on 16 September 2024. 
• The upper age is relaxed for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years, and Ex-servicemen (10 years).

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must have passed SSC/class 10th or equivalent examinations with at least 50% marks from recognized boards or institutions. 
• Candidates must have passed in ITI trade they wish to apply for from NCVT/SCVT recognized by the GOI.
