AP EdCET Counselling 2024

The Andhra University, Visakhapatnam conducted the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2024 for APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). 

The AP EdCET exam was conducted on 8 June 2024 and the authority released the results. The authority released the notification about the admission counselling after declaring the EdCET 2024 results.

The web counselling for admission into the regular courses and B.Ed Special Education in the university/ private colleges/ Government/Aided colleges of Education in AP for the 2024-24 academic year. 

According to reports, the candidates who qualify for the AP EdCET 2024 examinations will be eligible to participate in the 2024 EdCET online counselling. The candidates can check the released of counselling notification on 21 August 2024 after the authority reveals the results.

AP EdCET Counselling Process 2024

The counselling process of AP EdCET 2024 mainly consists of four stages that aspirants have to go through to get admission to their desired colleges. Here are the four stages of the AP EdCET counselling process:

• Registration: Candidates with their name in the AP EdCET merit list 2024 based on their marks in EdCET 2024 examinations will register for admission counselling 2024 from the TBA date. The candidates must pay the counselling charge or fee during the registration to participate in the online counselling for the seat allotment. 
• Choice Filling: After completing the registration, the candidates have to enter their choices and preferences of available institutions. The seat allotment of the candidates will be based on their preferences of colleges, rank, and the availability of the seats. 
• Seat allotment: The authority will release the seat allotment list after candidates lock their choice filling before the designated date based on their preferences. The candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotment can freeze their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee. Candidates who wish to participate in another round of counselling can participate by rejecting their seat and applying for the next round. 
• Online Reporting: The candidates have to upload their documents relevant to the admission on the portal for verification to move forward with the admission process. The candidates have to pay the admission fee at a specified time and report online after seat allotment to secure their seats in the allotted institutions. 

Documents Required for AP EdCET Counselling 2024

Candidates who qualified for the AP EdCET 2024 examinations and are willing to participate in the counselling process will require the following documents and information for the AP EdCET counselling process:

• Class XII mark sheet and passing certificate
• AP EdCET Hall ticket
• AP EdCET rank card
• Valid ID proof
• Transfer certificate/ School leaving certificate
• Income Certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• EWS certificate (if applicable)
• Residence certificate
• Passport-size photographs

Eligible and willing candidates can register for the AP EdCET counselling process in the following steps once the authority opens the registration window:

• Go to the official AP EdCET 2024 website at https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/
• Now, click the AP EdCET 2024 option on the homepage.
• Next, look for the counselling registration link on the webpage. 
• Now, log to the screen with your AP EdCET roll number/ hall ticket number and DOB. 
• Now, access the AP EdCET counselling registration form and carefully enter all the required details. 
• Next, upload the required documents proving your claim in the application. 
• Now, pay the counselling fee applicable to you through your preferred means. 
• After the successful transaction, your application process for the AP EdCET counselling is complete. 
• Remember to take a printout of your submitted AP EdCET counselling application for future use. 
• Next, fill out your preferences of institutions participating in the AP EdCET 2024 counselling before the specified time.
