Computer-based tests will be conducted from 03 October to 20 October 2024.

APTET Exam Schedule

The Andhra Pradesh TET is scheduled to be held on multiple days in October month. The first shift will be conducted on 03 October and the final shift will be conducted on 20 October 2024.

Exam Structure and Content

The APTET exam is divided into two main papers:

  • Paper-I (A and B): For candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V.
  • Paper-II (A and B): For candidates aspiring to teach Classes VI to VIII.

Paper-I A: For Classes I to V in Regular Schools

Paper-II A: For Classes VI to VIII in Regular Schools

    1. Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 MCQs (30 Marks)
    2. Language I – 30 MCQs (30 Marks)

    4. Mathematics and Science or Social Studies (depending on the candidate’s subject choice) – 60 MCQs (60 Marks)

Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern

The APTET exam is conducted online and consists of only multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. The syllabus for the exam is designed to assess the candidates’ understanding of the subjects they wish to teach, as well as their pedagogical knowledge.

  • Child Development and Pedagogy: Focuses on educational psychology and teaching-learning processes relevant to primary and elementary levels.
  • Languages I & II: Assesses proficiency in the chosen language, communication skills, and comprehension abilities.
  • Mathematics & Environmental Studies (Paper-I): Based on topics from Classes III to V, focusing on content and pedagogy.
  • Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies (Paper-II): Content and pedagogy questions based on the curriculum for Classes VI to VIII.

Admit Card Information

Candidates can download their APTET 2024 hall tickets from the official website starting from September 22, 2024. The hall ticket is an essential document that includes vital details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, exam date, time, and venue. It is mandatory to carry the hall ticket to the exam centre, along with a valid photo ID.

If any candidate faces issues downloading the hall ticket, they should immediately contact the Joint Director, TET, at the Commissioner of School Education, Mangalagiri, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. Resolving such issues well before the exam date is important to avoid any last-minute complications.

How to download APTET Hall Ticket 2024?

To download the APTET Hall Ticket, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official APTET website: cse.ap.gov.in.
  2. On the homepage, look for the link that says “Download Hall Ticket for APTET July 2024” and click on it.
  3. You will be prompted to enter your Journal Number (received at the time of fee payment), date of birth, and other required details.
  4. After entering the necessary information, click on the “Submit” button.
  5. Your hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Review all the details on the hall ticket carefully. If everything is correct, click on the “Download” button to save the hall ticket to your device.
  7. Print a copy of the hall ticket and keep it safe for the examination day.
