Eligibility Criteria for CHO Positions
To be eligible, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which is as follows:
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess their B.Sc (Nursing) or Post B.SC (Nursing) with successful completion of a six-month integrated curriculum Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognised university or institute. Additionally, they must be passed to general Nurse and Midwifery nurses through IGNOU or other State Public Health welfare institutions.
Age Limit (as on 01-06-2024)
The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years, and the upper age limit for different category candidates should be as follows:
- For EWS (Male): 42 years
- For EWS (Female): 45 years
- For BC & EBC (Male & Female): 45 years
- For SC/ST (Male & Female): 47 years
Age Relaxation: A minimum of 05 years of age relaxation will apply to departmental candidates, and 10 years will be admissible to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.
