BSF Group B & C Admit Card


The Directorate General Border Security Forces (BSF) is all set to conduct written examinations to hire Paramedical Staff, SMT Workshop, Veterinary Staff, and Librarian positions across various departments and forces nationwide. These positions fall under the Group B & C cadre, and only the most deserving candidates will be selected for these positions.

As of 17 June 2024, the department has received numerous applications from eligible candidates. Applicants are now eagerly awaiting the announcement of the exam date and the release of the admit card. The department plans to issue the BSF Paramedical Staff Admit Card under Group B & C services at least 05 days before the examination. To access the admit card, candidates can visit the official website at rectt.bsf.gov.in.

The BSF Paramedical Staff Recruitment notification was released with 141 vacancies of various positions such as Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician) and ASI (Physiotherapist). The application process for these positions started on 19 May and concluded on 17 June 2024. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications within this period will be called for the written examination.

BSF Paramedical Staff – Selection Process

The SI, ASI and other paramedical staff officers will be selected based on their performance in several phases, which will be conducted as follows:

  • Written Examination: Candidates will first undergo a written examination to test their knowledge and aptitude.
  • Physical Fitness Test: Those who qualify in the written exam will be called for a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) to assess their physical capabilities.
  • Document Verification:  Candidates who will be qualified for the PFT will undergo document verification to ensure the authenticity of their provided information.
  • Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the document verification must pass a medical examination to ensure they meet the health standards required for the positions.
  • Final Merit List: Based on the performance in the above stages, a final merit list will be prepared, and candidates will be selected accordingly.

BSF Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse) – Examination Schedule

The department has not yet announced the exam date; however, based on the current progress, it is anticipated to be released shortly. It is recommended that candidates regularly monitor the official website at rectt.bsf.gov.in for the latest updates. Keeping a close eye on the website will ensure that candidates stay informed about any announcements about the exam date and other important details. Candidates are advised to be well-prepared for the examination because the department will announce the schedule soon.

Border Security Forces (BSF) Paramedical Staff –  Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

  • The department will conduct a composite paper for 02 Hours, comprising 100 questions on various topics.
  • The sum of the total marks is worth 100. Each correct answer will get a 01 mark.
  • All questions will be objective-type based, conducted on OMR-Sheets.

BSF SI, ASI Hall Ticket Details

The admit card is crucial for candidates appearing for the BSF Group B & C written examination. It contains essential information such as:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Roll number
  • Exam date and time
  • Exam Centre Address
  • Instructions for the exam day

Candidates must carry the hall ticket to the examination centre, as entry without it will not be permitted. Candidates should also bring a valid photo ID proof, two recent passport-size photographs, and a hall ticket.

  3. Now, click on the link and fill in the application registration number, date of birth and security pin.
  4. Then, submit the details properly and wait for a few seconds.
  5. The admit card will be generated on the screen, it will be in the form of a PDF file format.
  6. Download the PDF, and don’t forget to take two photocopies of it to appear in the examination.
