IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025 – Job Profile
As a musician you will become a part of the Air Force Band. If you join the Air Force as a musician, you will be trained to play different musical instruments. Agniveervayu enrolled under this entry are also liable to be assigned any duty in organisational interest at the discretion of IAF
Age limit for IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025
Candidates who born in between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualification for IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025
Candidates must passed Matriculation/ Equivalent examination from recognized education boards by Central, State.
Musical ability: Candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch and singing one complete song. They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations ie, Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments that require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocal or instruments.
Pay Scale for IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025
Candidates who selected as Agniveer will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000/- per month
Selection Procedure
Selection of the candidates will be on based on the below mentioned selection process.
Phase-I (Written Test): The written test will be conducted at Station/ location where the candidate has submitted his application.
Proficiency Test in Playing Musical Instruments: Candidates will have to undergo proficiency test in
playing musical instruments which will be conducted individually or with group of instruments
Adaptability Test – I (AT-I): All candidates who pass the English written test shall have to undertake AT-I (objective type written test) which is to assess suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.
Physical fitness test: PFT consists of two parts ie, PFT-I and PFT-II
Adaptability Test – II (AT-II): All candidates who pass PFT will have to undertake AT-II. AT-II is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of IAF and are able to adjust to the military way of life.
