IBPS Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years old.
- Birthdate must fall between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004.
Educational Qualification
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government is required.
- Candidates must possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate on the day of registration, indicating the percentage of marks obtained in graduation.
Computer Literacy
- Candidates must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems.
- They should possess a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations or have studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject in high school, college, or institute.
Language Proficiency
- Proficiency in the official language of the state or union territory for which they are applying is preferred. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak the official language.
Nationality/Citizenship
Candidates must be one of the following:
- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal
- A subject of Bhutan
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
IBPS Clerk 2024 Salary Structure
The basic salary for an IBPS Clerk ranges from ₹19,900 to ₹47,920 per month. The initial basic pay is ₹19,900, along with allowances including dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical allowance, and transport allowance. The total monthly salary for new clerks is approximately ₹29,453.
