Karnataka State Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) concluded board public exams for Class 5th on 26 March and Classes 8th and 9th on 28 March 2024 for the academic year 2023-24. Students and parents are excited for admission to the next classes. Before that, they need to check the results for their respective classes.

The education board will announce the board exam results of Classes 5, 8, and 9 on 10 April 2024. As per the reports, more than 1.66 Crore students and their guardians await the Exam Result or Summative Assessment-2 results. It will be available online at the board’s official web portal.

The results for the classes 5, 8, and 9 Public exams were supposed to be announced as per the schedule mentioned above. Now, the result publication has been put on hold by the Supreme Court.

Board officials assess the students’ answer sheets before announcing the results. Currently, teachers are busy in evaluating the answer sheets of the students across various centers prepared by the board. Students who have taken the class 8 board exams can check their results by visiting the official website at kseab.karnataka.gov.in or the official results portal at karresults.nic.in.

Karnataka summative assessment -2 (SA-2)/board exams for Class 5th, 8th, 9th and 11th were conducted according to the following timetable.

Class 5th Exam Date

  • March 25, 2024 – Environmental Studies (2:30 pm to 4:30 pm)
  • March 26, 2024 – Mathematics (10:00 am to 12:00 pm)

Class 8th Exam Date

  • March 25, 2024 – Third language – 2:30 pm to 5 pm,
  • March 26, 2024 – Mathematics exam- 10 am -12:30 pm,
  • March 27, 2024 – Science exam- 2:30 pm – 5 pm,
  • March 28, 2024 – Social Science (10 am to 12:30 pm)

Class 9th Exam Date

  • March 25, 2024 – Third language- 2:00 to 5:00 pm
  • March 26, 2024 – Mathematics- 10:00 am to 1:15 pm
  • March 27, 2024 – Science exam- 2:00 pm to 5: 15 pm
  • March 28, 2024 – Social Science from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm

The students will be issued scorecards from their respective schools. There will be essential details printed on the mark sheet as mentioned below:
