The pay scale for these positions is as follows: Agricultural Officers (AO) receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹43,100 to ₹83,900, while Assistant Agricultural Officers (AAO) are offered a salary between ₹40,900 and ₹78,200.
Educational Qualification
- For the position of Agricultural Officer (AO), candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- For the role of Assistant Agricultural Officer (AAO), applicants must have completed a Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit
As of the cut-off date, 10 September 2024, candidates must be between 18 and 38 years old for the general category. For candidates belonging to categories 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B, the upper age limit is extended to 41 years, and for SC/ST and Category-1, it is 43 years.
