The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) is initiating a recruitment for Village Administrative Officer (VAO) positions in various State Revenue Departments. Application registration process for these posts ended on 15 May 2024. The official notification was released with 1000 vacancies of VAO posts.
In the further phase, the commission will conduct a written examination for these posts. Applicants can download the KPSC VAO Admit Card at least one week before the examination date from the website of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), i.e. cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

The online application registrations started on 05 April 2024 and ended on 15 May 2024. The selection of eligible candidates will be done based on their performance in various phases.
KEA VAO Examination Schedule
The commission has not declared the exam date yet. It will be released in the upcoming days on KEA’s official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates are advised to check the daily updates by visiting the official website of the commission.
Selection Procedure for KEA VAO Vacancies
- Written Exam: The board of the examination authority will conduct a written exam, which will be conducted on OMR Sheets. This examination will assess the candidate’s general knowledge, knowledge of the English & Kannada language.
- Certificate Verification: After conducting the written exam, the commission will call the qualified candidates to appear in the Certificate Verification phase. Candidates must have all their original documents to verify.
KPSC VAO Exam Pattern & Exam Scheme
- It is an OMR-based examination comprising 200 questions on several subjects/topics.
- All correct answer carries a 01 mark with a penalty of 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
- The duration to complete this examination is 02 hours.

KPSC VAO Admit Card Details
The admit card will consist of all the necessary details of the candidates and examinations. It covers the details of the candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, category, gender, parent’s details, exam date, exam timings and examination centre details.

- Now, enter the login credentials using the given criteria.
- After entering the details, submit it and wait a few seconds.
- Check the PDF of the admit card on your device screen.
- Download it and take at least two printouts.
