• For Paper II (Upper Primary Level: Classes 6 to 8) –  Candidates should have a graduation degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

Age Limit

The MAHATET 2024 does not specify an upper age limit, making it accessible for individuals at various stages of their careers. However, candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of applying to qualify for taking the examination.

Maha TET Registration Fee

For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Handicapped Candidates with a disability of 40% or more, the fee is INR 700 for one paper and INR 900 for both papers. Other candidates must pay INR 1000 for one paper and INR 1200 for both papers.
