The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MAHADISCOM) has recently issued an official notification inviting applications to recruit Vidyut Sahayak positions. A total of 5374 vacancies have been announced for the same.
The online application process commenced on the 1st of March, 2024, and the last date for submission of applications is the 19 april, 2024. All applications and fee payments are to be completed within this period.
In addition, candidates are allowed to print a copy of their application until the 4th of May, 2024. Candidates are advised to prepare diligently for the Technical Ability Test.

Educational Qualification
To qualify for the Vidyut Sahayak position, candidates must have passed the Secondary School (Madhyamik) examination or hold an equivalent qualification under the 10+2 education system. Additionally, applicants should possess a National Vocational Training Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training, New Delhi, in Electrical/Wiring or have completed a two-year Diploma (Electrical/Wiring) certified by the Maharashtra State Board of Vocational Examinations.
Age Limits– Eligible candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age to apply for the Vidyut Sahayak role.
Application Fee of MAHADISCOM Vidyut Sahayak
For candidates applying under the Open Category, the application fee is set at Rs. 250, with an additional charge for GST. Those belonging to the Backward Classes (BC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), or identified as Orphans are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 125, plus GST. However, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from paying any application fee. All payments must be made through online modes
Selection Process for Vidyut Sahayak Position
