The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducted the Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) on the scheduled date and time. This test was organised for admission into undergraduate courses, such as engineering, agriculture, pharmacy and other technical courses.
This test was conducted in two groups: PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry & Biology). The PCB group examination was held from 22 April to 30 April 2024, and the PCM group examination was held from 02 May to 17 May 2024.

The organisation has now started the scrutiny process of answer sheets to prepare the final results of the participating candidates. The entire process may take up to three months. Thereafter, the results will be published on the official portal.
MHT Common Entrance Test – Exam Overview
The MHT CET was a Computer-Based Examination, which was conducted in three papers: Paper I (Mathematics), Paper II (Physics & Chemistry) and Paper III (Biology). Each paper had 100 objective-type questions, totalling 100 marks. Check the detailed information about the exam overview here:

Maharashtra Health and Technology (MHT) CET – Result Preparation Process
The result will be prepared based on various factors, which are as follows:
- The number of exam takers.
- The difficulty level of the question paper.
- Candidates performance in this test.
- Revised answer key.
Considering these factors, the test cell will prepare the final results and a list of the shortlisted candidates. The merit list shows the candidate’s name, roll number, passing marks and overall percentages. The scorecard will be in the form of a merit list. MHT CET – Cut-Off Marks/ Minimum Qualifying Marks
The cut-off marks are known as the minimum qualifying marks, which are set as a passing level of the examination. Those who score equal or more than these marks will be safe and able to get admission to undergraduate courses offered by the various colleges and universities across Maharashtra.
