NCCR Recruitment 2024
NCCR, Chennai has implemented various projects for coastal research to gather information, services & solutions for effective coastal areas management. The authority seeks manpower for different projects and hence, invites applications from eligible candidates for various project posts, such as Project Scientist, Senior Research Fellow, and Senior Technical Assistant.
According to the notification, the organization plans to fill up 42 vacant Project posts temporarily based on contract, initially for one year, which may get extended based on the project requirements and performance review. Interested candidates can send their application for the various Project posts before the last date of application, 06 September 2024 (till 5:00 PM).
The last date of the applications is extended for the applicants from North Eastern states, J&K, Andaman Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep till 09 September 2024 (till 5:00 PM). The candidates will be called for the Written test/interview test based on their educational qualifications and experience required for the post they have applied for.

NCCR Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates willing to apply for the NCCR Project posts can check their eligibility to apply for the post from the below eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
- The maximum age of the applicants to apply for the NCCR project posts varies depending on the posts, such as 45 years, for PS-III, 40 years for PS-II, 35 years for PS-I, and SRF for 30 years, and STA.
- The upper age is relaxed for the candidates as of 0i January for 0-5 yrs for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Educational Qualifications:
- Applicants should possess the minimum or essential qualification required as per the post, like a B.Tech degree in the respective trade.
- Applcian ts applying for the SRF should master degree for the respective post along with NET/CSIR-UGC NET/Fate with two years of reprieve.
- Applicants applying for STA should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering & technology with at least 60% marks and with a minimum experience of two years.

Candidates who wish to apply for the NCCR Project post should prepare the following documents and information:
- Color Passport size latest photograph
- Self-attested copies of matriculation mark sheet & passing certificate
- Self-attested copies of the 12th Mark sheet
- Self-attested copies of his/her graduation certificates and mark sheet for each year/semester
- Community Certification (if applicable)
- PwD/EWS Certificate
- Other supportive documents are required to prove your claim.
