NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment 2024

NPCIL invites applications from eligible candidates for the Category-II Stipendiary Trainee Operator & category-II Stipendiary Trainee Maintainer. The candidates will be appointed for a 2-year of training and after the successful training, the trainees can be considered for the Technician Group C post based on their performance during the training period. 

The organization plans to fill the 279 vacancies, where 267 are current vacancies and 12 are backlog vacancies. Candidates interested in this recruitment drive of NPCIL can submit their online application from 22 August 2024 (10:00 AM) till 11 September 2024 (11:59 PM).

The selection of the candidates will be based on the written test divided into two stages – Preliminary test and advanced test, followed by the skill test only for the Stipendiary Trainee- Maintainer post. The selected candidates will get a stipend of ₹22,000 per month during the training with a one-time book allowance of ₹3,000.

Age Limit:

• Applicants’ age should be between 18 to 24 years on the last date of application 11 September 2024.
• The upper age is relaxed for the SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL(3 years), PwBD-ST(15 years), PwBD-OBC-NCL(13 years), Ex-servicemen (3 years), DODPKIA (5 years, !984 riots dependants (5 years), and up to 35 years for widows & divorced women.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants who have cleared the 10+2 in Science Stream securing at least 50% marks can apply for the ST/TN-Operator post.
• Applicants applying for the ST/TN-Maintainer post must have passed the 10th exam with a minimum of 50% marks in Science & mathematics subject, and he/she must have acquired the 2-year ITI certificate in relevant trade.
• Applicants applying for the ST/TN-Maintainer post should have one-year working experience.
