NVIDIA is on the lookout for an innovative and driven engineer to join our GPU Software team. As a GPU/SOC System Software Engineer, you’ll collaborate with top-tier software and hardware engineers, contributing to cutting-edge technology. Your focus will be on crafting, enhancing, and debugging critical elements of GPU and SOC kernel drivers and embedded software – optimizing platform performance, power efficiency, and system stability.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug NVIDIA software stack to transition next-gen hardware from development to production.
  • Play a vital role in kernel-mode software design and implementation.
  • Support device development through to deployment across global data centers, desktops, notebooks, workstations, and gaming consoles.
  • Engage in emulation, bring-up, and production hardening to ensure the highest quality in NVIDIA products.
  • Collaborate with global teams and contribute to NVIDIA’s groundbreaking projects.

🎓 What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree: BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years of system software development experience in Windows Kernel Device Driver development and debugging.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
    • Strong knowledge of computer system architecture (caches, buses, memory controllers).
    • Solid understanding of operating systems, especially Windows Kernel fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills for large-scale systems.

✨ Bonus Points:

  • Expertise in system-level debugging (both software and hardware).
  • Familiarity with Windows Driver Models (WDDM/MCDM).
  • Knowledge of system security concepts and hardware-software interactions.
