Selection Process
- Written Exam: The department will conduct the written exam to assess the candidate’s general knowledge, general awareness, and reasoning abilities.
- Physical Standard Test: For those who will be qualified for the written exam, the department will call them to take the Physical Standard Test.
- Document Verification: After conducting the written exam and PST, candidates will be eligible for the Document Verification phase. Candidates should have all required documents to verify.
- Medical Examination: This will be the last phase conducted by the department to select the eligible candidates for the various positions of the Punjab Police Constables.

Punjab Police Constable Exam Pattern
- The examination authority will conduct two papers.
- Paper I consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with 100 marks.
- Paper II consists of 50 multiple-choice questions with 50 marks.
- All questions will be objective-type multiple choice.
- The total of these papers is 150.
- Candidates will have 02 hours to complete Paper I and 60 minutes (01 hour) for Paper II.

Details of the PP Constable Admit Card
Taking at least two hard copies of the admit card is mandatory. It is the entry ticket to the examination hall because, without it, you can’t enter the examination hall. You also have two ID proofs: an Adhar Card/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Passport. Also, you have two photographers with these documents.
