The Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) annually conducts the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN SET). For the year 2024, the university conducted this eligibility test on 7 and 8 June at various test centres in Tamil Nadu.

TNSET Exam Overview
The test was organised to check the candidate’s eligibility for Assistant Professor positions, determining the candidate’s general knowledge, teaching capacity, general awareness, reasoning ability and subject knowledge. Here is the outline of the exam overview:
- This examination was conducted offline on OMR-Sheets.
- It includes two papers with a duration of 03 hours.
- It comprised 150 questions, totalling 300 marks.
- All questions were multiple-choice-based.

Objection Form & Submission
Objections will be invited against the incorrect answers in the provisional key. The university will activate a link to process the objection form for those who are unsatisfied with these keys.
Candidates can submit their objections online only by paying a nominal amount per objection. The university will review the objections and release a revised answer key to the candidates. The examination authority takes at least a week to complete the objection process and review the objection forms. A revised answer key will be published on the portal in the next phase, and exam results will be prepared based on this final key.
