After the Ladki Bahin Yojana, recently, the Maharashtra government launched a scheme for the unemployed young men of the state to provide job training and financial support through Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana. Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana

Maharashtra CM, Eknath Shinde launched the Ladka Bhau Yojana at Pandharpur, Solapur district on 17 July 2024, during Ashadi Ekadashi to provide on-job training and financial support to young men looking for a job.

The Ladka Bhau Yojanan is a part of Mukhya Mantri Yuva Karya-Prashikshan Yojana to tackle unemployment in the state. The Maharashtra government aimed to connect employers and job seekers to bridge the gap with skilled employees and better job opportunities.

The scheme provides monthly financial aid to the beneficiaries from ₹6000 to ₹10,000 with job training based on the educational qualification of the beneficiaries. Eligible young men can take advantage of this scheme by applying for it.

Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana Eligibility Criteria 

The young men who meet the following eligibility requirements of the Ladka Bhau Yojanan are eligible to receive financial support and on-job training:

• Your age must be between 18 and 35 years.
• You have completed the 12th/ diploma/Degree/ or ITI.
• You have Maharashtra residency and Aadhar registration.
• You are a job seeker or unemployed.

Exclusions:

• Students who are studying or enrolled in any education program are not eligible for the scheme.

Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana Monthly Stipend

According to the Maharashtra government announcement, the beneficiaries will receive the following monthly stipend during their on-job training based on their educational qualification:

• ₹6,000 for unemployed and job-seeking young men who are 12th class pass.
• ₹8,000 for beneficiaries with diplomas in any field.
• ₹10,000 for beneficiaries who hold a graduation degree in any field.

The beneficiaries will receive a stipend from the authority during their apprenticeship or on-the-job training to land a new job. The state government has added apprenticeships or internships in the scheme to offer job opportunities for young men.

How does the Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana work?

The state government will collaborate with industries and companies to provide apprenticeships to the youth in the industrial, semi-government, and non-industrial government establishments for six months when the government takes care of their monthly stipend.

Entrepreneurs can get the skilled employees required for their industries. The establishment should fulfill the following requirements to participate in the scheme:

• The company must be established and in operation within the state and it should be registered as an employer on the portal of Skills, Employment, entrepreneurship, Innovation.
• The company should be functioning for at least three years and it should be registered with GAT, RPF, DPIT, ESIC, Udyog Aadhar, and other incorporation documents.

With the scheme, the industries will get skilled employees and the beneficiaries will get the experience to find better work opportunities in the future with their upgraded skills.

How to apply for the Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana?

The young men who meet the eligibility requirements of the Mukhya Mantri Maza Ladka Bhau Yojana 2024 should complete their registration as a job seeker on the Skill Development, Employment. and Entrepreneurship portal. But first, you would need the following documents to complete your registration:

• Aadhar Card
• PAN Card
• Income certificate
• Mobile number
• Domicile Certificate
• Bank Account linked to Aadhar card
• Educational Certificate

You can follow the below steps to apply for the Maharashtra Ladka Bhau Yojana:

• First, go to the Mahaswayam portal at  https://rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in/
• Next, navigate to registration and register as the new job seeker on the portal.
• The candidates can register for free on the Mahaswayam portal, so fill out the form with valid details, such as Aadhar ID, mobile number, name, etc.
• Next, upload the applicable documents on the portal in the prescribed format.
• After you submit the form, your application is complete for registration on the Skill development portal.
