The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recently announced the BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2024, which is set to fill over 1 lakh teacher vacancies nationwide. The official notification for this recruitment was released in early February 2024, and the application process started on February 10, 2024, and ended on February 25, 2024.
The BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2024 exams were scheduled for March 15th and 16th, 2024. later on, through a notice, the commission announced that the exam for 16 March had been deferred. Following this exam for primary teachers was conducted on 15 March. Due to a paper leak issue, this exam has been cancelled and will be conducted again in the coming days.
Update on New Exam Date
BPSC has announced the written exam date for TRE 3.0. The written exam will be conducted from 10 June to 12 June 2024.
The candidates can get their BPSC TRE 3.0 Admit Card for Primary and Upper Primary teachers at least a week before the exam date.

BPSC 2024 Selection Process
Written Examination- The written examination is the first and most crucial step in the selection process. It is divided into two distinct papers, pedagogical knowledge and subject expertise for different teaching levels.
Document Verification- After successful qualification in the written examination, candidates are called for document verification. Candidates must present their original documents, including educational qualifications, professional certifications (if any), category certificates, and other relevant documents.
Examination Schedule
The BPSC 2024 TRE exams were scheduled for March 15 and 16, 2024 which stand cancelled now. New Exam dates will be announced soon. The examination will take place in various centres across the region to accommodate a large number of applicants. Bihar Teacher Exam Pattern 2024
- The Total Marks for the PRT (Primary Teacher), Middle Teacher, Secondary Teacher, and Senior Secondary Teacher exams are 150.
- Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer.
- There is no negative marking for Incorrect Answers.
- Candidates will not be penalized for leaving Unattempted Questions.
