Indian Navy SSC Officer Admit Card 2024, Check CBT Exam Date and Paper Pattern

Indian Navy launched the recruitment drive for Short Service Commission (SSC) officers in February 2024. The application process for the SSC Officers has been completed. In the next phase, the recruitment authority will conduct the written exam.

Indian Navy SSC Officer Admit Card 2024

The application window was opened from February 24, 2024, to March 10, 2024, and applications were only accepted online through the official Indian Navy website.

A total of 254 vacancies across various branches, such as General Service, Pilot, Air Traffic, Naval Air Operation, Logistics, Education, Engineering, Electric Branch, and Naval Constructor will be filled.

The selection process is designed to identify candidates who not only meet the educational and physical standards but are also ready for the challenging life in the Navy.

Selection Process for Indian Navy SSC Officer 2024

Candidates are shortlisted for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews based on the applications received. Shortlisted candidates are informed about their selection for the SSB interview through email or the official website.

• SSB Interviews – The SSB interviews are conducted over five days, and each day tests the different qualities of the candidates. On the final day, a conference is held where decisions regarding their recommendation are made.
• Document Verification – Candidates recommended by the SSB undergo a document verification to ensure the documents submitted by the candidates are authentic.
• Written Test – Shortlisted candidates then appear for a test to filter out the candidates with basic general knowledge.
• Training – After all the group and physical tests conducted after the written exam, selected candidates are sent for training at the designated venue.

Indian Navy SSC Officer Exam Pattern

• The Indian Navy SSC Officer exam is conducted offline.
• The examination includes questions from English, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude, Reasoning and Numerical Ability, and General Knowledge.
• It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• Each correct answer is awarded a +1 mark for the marking scheme, while an incorrect answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
• Candidates are given a total duration of 60 minutes to complete the exam.

After downloading the admit card, you should check all the details carefully to ensure they match your personal information. It is because it has information like your name, application number, roll number, and other instructions. Any mistake in it could cause you to sit out of the exam. Make sure to carry this admit card’s printout to the examination centre, as it is your entry ticket on the exam day.

To download the admit card for the Indian Navy SSC Officer exam from the official website, follow these steps:

1. To the Indian Navy’s official recruitment website at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
2. Look for the SSC Officer Recruitment 2024 link.
3. Once you’re on the SSC Officer Recruitment page, find the link for the Indian Navy SSC Officer admit card.
4. Click on the admit card link to redirect you to a login page. Here, you must enter your registration details, such as your user ID and password, generated at the time of application submission.
5. After successfully logging in, your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
6. Finally, download the admit card and take a printout.
