The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) will conduct the written exam for Primary Teachers (PRT) in the upcoming days. Previously, the examination was scheduled for 10 February 2024, but the exam could not be completed due to unavoidable circumstances. The new exam date has been fixed as 27 April 2024.
As and when the exam date is announced, the commission’s exam authority issued the admit cards to the eligible candidates. The recruitment notification for 26,001 vacancies was announced in August 2023. Online applications were accepted from 16 August to 15 September 2023. The organization has reopened the application link for the candidates from 23 March to 06 April 2024. A large number of candidates have successfully registered for these positions. Jharkhand PRT Selection Process
- The commission will conduct a computer-based examination in one phase.
- The main examination will consist of three or four papers and will be conducted in two shifts.
- Each paper will last for 2 hours, except for papers 3 and 4, which will be 3 hours each.
- The examination will feature objective questions with objective-type answers, each with one mark.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The JSSC PRT Admit Card will contain essential information and details like the examination authority name, Exam Name, candidate’s details, exam date and timings, exam-related general instructions, etc.
Candidates must verify all details after receiving the JSSC Teachers Admit Card. If there are any discrepancies, it is recommended to contact the examination authority for corrections promptly. On the day of the exam, it is essential to bring a printed copy of the admit card, a valid identification proof, and two recent passport-sized photographs.
