On Wednesday, the Maharashtra state government unveiled a brand-new initiative called “Ladla bhai yojana,” which will give financial aid to male pupils who have passed their 12th grade, received a diploma, or obtained a graduate degree. Those who meet the requirements will receive up to ₹10,000 per month.

Following the announcement of the ‘Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ for girls, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde launched the ‘Ladla Bhai Yojana‘ for males in the state. 

Addressing the event of Ashadhi Ekadashi in Pandharpur, Maharashtra, Shinde reportedly stated that the “Ladla Bhai Yojana” scheme will address the problem of unemployment and that the state government does not distinguish between boys and girls. 

Youths in Maharashtra who have completed their 12th grade are eligible for the Ladla Bhai Yojana. As per an official statement from the Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, the beneficiaries’ qualifications will determine the variation in the stipend amount.

Pupils who have finished their 12th grade will get ₹6,000 a month under this program. As for the students, diploma holders will get ₹8,000 a month, while graduates will get ₹10,000.

To apply for the Ladla Bhai Yojana in Maharashtra, you need to meet the following eligibility requirements:
