The Department of School Education, Telangana, concluded the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TS TET) on 03 June 2024. The exam was scheduled to be held from 20 May to 03 June 2024. This examination was organized at various state test centres, and thousands of candidates participated.
This test was organized to encourage individuals who want to get teaching positions in the school of Telangana. This test was divided into two papers: Paper I was for those individuals who want to teach Primary Classes (1 to 5), and Paper II was for Secondary Classes (6 to 8).

The TS TET was a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted to determine the candidate’s eligibility for becoming a teacher for 1 to 8 classes in government and government-aided schools in Telangana.
TS TET- Examination Schedule & Exam Overview
This test was conducted in two shifts, Morning and Afternoon, for 2 hours & 30 minutes. There were two papers in this eligibility test. The Computer-Based Test assessed the candidates’ knowledge of their respective subjects: Mathematics, Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, English Language, and subject-related questions.

This test comprised two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Each paper had 150 questions, with a total of 150 marks. All questions were multiple-choice-based. Each correct answer carried a 01 mark with no negative marking scheme.
