TSPSC Prelims Selection Process
- Prelim Written Examination – It serves as a qualifying exam to shortlist candidates for the next stage. It tests candidates based on their general studies and mental ability.
- Mains Examination – Candidates who successfully pass the Preliminary Test move on to the Mains Examination. This stage is more comprehensive and involves detailed written tests covering various subjects relevant to the job role.
- Documents Verification – After the Mains Examination, shortlisted candidates are required to undergo a Documents Verification process. During this stage, candidates must present original documents and certificates for verification. The purpose is to validate the authenticity of the information provided by the candidates in their application forms.
- Interview – The final stage of the selection process is the Interview. Candidates who clear the Documents Verification are called for a personal interview. The interview panel consists of experts and officials who evaluate the candidates on various parameters
Exam schedule
The exam schedule for the Group-I Services has been announced, with the Preliminary Test set to take place on June 9, 2024. Following the Preliminary Test, the Main Examination will commence on October 21, 2024, and will continue from this date.
