UGC NET Admit Card 2024, Exam City Intimation Released, Exam on 18 June

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) to determine candidates’ eligibility for Lecturership and Junior Research Fellowships. This examination will take place in June 2024 nationwide.

Many candidates have applied for this examination and await the UGC NET Admit Card release. The agency will provide the admit cards 5 days before the examination. Candidates can download and print their admit cards using application registration details. It will be accessible on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET Exam Pattern and Scheme

The UGC NET examination is an OMR-based examination comprising two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I includes the questions that will be generic, intending to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. Paper II is based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge. There will be a total of 150 questions in these papers. The sum of the total marks is 300 for both papers, and 03 hours will be awarded to complete both papers.

The admit card carries important information regarding the candidates and some instructions regarding the examination. Reading all the important points mentioned on the admit card is necessary. These institutions will help the candidates to appear in the examination. It is crucial to bring a hard copy of the admit card; the examination authority will not accept a digital or soft copy.

Candidates should have two ID proofs, two recent passport-size photographs, and an admit card. If you fail to bring these documents, the agency will not allow you to enter the examination hall. So, it is necessary to be ready with all mandatory documents.

  2. A direct link to download the “UGC NET Admit Card” is given on the homepage.
  3. Click on the link and fill in the required details, such as registration number, date of birth and security code.
  4. Submit the details and wait a minute for processing.
  5. The admit card will be generated on the screen.
  6. Download it and take at least two copies to appear in the examination.
