The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) recently conducted the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) for the Primary Level. The examination aimed to check candidates’ eligibility for future teaching positions. The candidates were looking for the WB TET Result 2024 to be released by the organisation.

As per reports, over 6 lakh candidates participate in the written examination. The examination was initially scheduled for 10 December 2023, but it was later postponed to 24 December 2023 and was successfully held across various centres in the state.

Update on 2022 TET Merit List

The primary teacher recruitment panel 2022 has been published after the Supreme Court order. The panel is published on the West Bengal Primary Teachers Board website on Wednesday evening. 9,533 candidates were considered eligible for the recruitment process. WB TET Result 2024

Every year, the WB TET is conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education as a standard procedure to ensure that candidates who aspire to become teachers possess the necessary knowledge and aptitude.

The primary purpose of the West Bengal Primary TET is to determine the eligibility of candidates for future teaching positions in West Bengal. It’s a qualifying exam, meaning that passing it is a requirement for being considered for teaching jobs.

WB TET Exam Overview

The WB TET 2023 was an offline exam. The test comprised objective-type questions. Each question presented multiple-choice options, from which the candidates had to select the correct answer. There were a total of 150 questions in the exam.

The questions were available in two languages – English and Bengali. Candidates were allotted 3 hours to complete the test. There is no negative marking for the wrong answers in the test. Applicants will get 01 mark for each correct answer.

WB TET Qualifying Marks

For the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET), passing or qualifying marks are an important part, of determining the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions. As per the criteria set for WBBPE, candidates who score 60% or more in the examination are considered qualified.

The candidates may use the below-given steps to check their West Bengal TET Result 2024:

1. Go to the official West Bengal Board of Primary Education website at www.wbbpeonline.com.
2. Look for a section or tab labelled ‘Results’ or something similar on the homepage.
3. In the results section, find and click on the West Bengal TET Result link.
4. You’ll be prompted to enter your credentials, such as roll number or registration number, and possibly a date of birth for verification.
5. After entering your details, click the ‘Submit’ or ‘Check Result’ button.
6. Now, the WB TET result will be displayed on the screen. This will usually include your score and whether or not you’ve qualified.
7. Candidates can download a copy of the result for your records. Look for a ‘Download’ or ‘Print’ option on the page.
8.  Take a printout of the downloaded result for future requirements, such as verification during job applications.
